Hi Chefs,
Great news — our playtesting module is now live on Tabletop Simulator (TTS)! You can download and try the game by following the steps below. The current setup features last month’s “Final Round” challenge. Give it a try and see how many points you can score!
How to Access the Game on TTS:
Download Tabletop Simulator from Steam.
Visit the Workshop on the Tabletop Simulator home page, search for “Cauldron Call”, and click Subscribe.
Return to your Desktop, launch Tabletop Simulator, and select “Create”.
Go to Objects → Tables → None to remove the default table. This ensures all game components can be placed correctly.
Navigate to Games and find Cauldron Call in your Workshop library.
Click Additive Load, then Load.
Once loaded, you’re ready to brew!
We’ve also created a demo video for this challenge to visually walk you through the core rules. We hope it helps you get into the gameplay even faster!
Production Update: We’ve finalized the design, structure, appearance, and functionality of the furniture and the Cauldron itself. The mold design and production phase will begin next month.
We’re also in touch with Panda Game Manufacturing regarding the printed components. Compared to the custom molded parts, the printing process is more straightforward and will move along quickly.
We’re pushing hard to keep production on track and get the game into your hands as soon as possible!

Happy New Year!Chefs!
First, we have some great news to share!
The Undead mechanism is now unlocked for everyone at no extra cost!
We’re so grateful for your incredible support that we decided to bring the Undead mechanic to life! It was originally part of a stretch goal we didn’t hit, but you’ve all been amazing, so we went ahead and built it into the core game. And yes, it’s completely free—no add-ons or extra purchases needed.
We’ve also been listening closely to your suggestions and feedback. Based on them, we've refined the core gameplay rules. Our goal is to make the game truly “easy to learn, hard to master” so that both newcomers and seasoned strategy enthusiasts can enjoy a uniquely engaging experience.
To go along with these updates, we've prepared a special challenge and a core gameplay rulesheet for everyone. Think of this as a fun warm-up—it's not too difficult. We'll be rolling out more challenging scenarios later on, so you can start getting into the game even before your copy arrives.

As our Kickstarter journey for Cauldron Call comes to a close, we find ourselves feeling deeply grateful this Thanksgiving. To celebrate the season and thank each of you, we’re excited to unlock a special Thanksgiving-themed Shadow Feast Order card - Leftover Turkey Sandwich!
We’ll keep you updated every month as we bring Cauldron Call to your table. Here’s what comes next:
Pledge Manager & Shipping We’ll use BackerKit to manage pledges and shipping. To account for changing shipping costs, we’ll collect fees closer to delivery—this helps us offer you the fairest price and pass on any savings. Here’s the process:
We estimate in March 2026, you’ll get a BackerKit email to: – Confirm your pledge – Add any extra items
Closer to shipping, you’ll receive another email to: – Pay for shipping cost
Missed the Campaign? You or your friends can still join via the Late Pledge option on our Kickstarter page.
Already Backed? You’re all set! We’ll notify you when the pledge manager opens.
We’re so thankful for your support for Cauldron Call. Whether it’s Thanksgiving or any game night ahead, we hope this game brings warmth and fun to your gatherings.
Questions? Reach us at [email protected]. We’ll be back next month with our first development update!

We're a "Project We Love"!

We are thrilled to announce that our project has been selected as a "Project We Love" by Kickstarter! This recognition would not have been possible without the incredible support from all our backers—thank you!
As we mentioned in our application, we are innovating by making board games more accessible to a wider audience without sacrificing depth. Cauldron Call is designed around a unique blend of an intuitive cooking theme, technology components, and dynamic challenges set in a magical world. Players can grasp the game within minutes, yet it offers strategic layers that unfold over many plays.
In other exciting news, we have just received confirmation that The Dice Tower's preview video will be released next Monday morning. We will promptly update our campaign page with the link as soon as it's live!

New Stretch Goal Unlocked!
– Sat, Nov 08, 2025 at 05:34:13 AM
Incredible! Thanks to your phenomenal support, we've officially unlocked our two COMMUNITY Stretch Goals! (The first four were our pre-unlocked goals.) That's right! Our newly unlocked feature is Bluetooth functionality for the cauldron!
The Bluetooth feature is mainly for future-proofing—it gives us the flexibility to add new mechanics and gameplay features for the cauldron down the road. We love our cauldron and want it to stay magical and relevant for a long time.
Just to be clear: the game does not require an app. It’s fully playable straight out of the box!
We're also excited to share some behind-the-scenes stories about the cauldron! Regarding the lighting effects: we experimented with multiple light-guiding solutions to channel the light from the PCB onto the dragon scales on the casing. The scales themselves are purple, so even white light will shine through with a purple glow.
You might be wondering about the design—why there’s a dragon, and why it moves. All of this is rooted in a backstory that we’ve crafted.
The design and testing process took a very long time. Our R&D team made countless adjustments to both the hardware and software before finally achieving the effect we wanted. The cauldron can now be easily adjusted according to gameplay needs—such as when it starts moving, its frequency, speed, direction, and more. We’re also planning to program different modes to create varied in-game effects.
To retain Bluetooth functionality, we ultimately opted for a higher-cost chip with built-in Bluetooth support. We believe that for a smart hardware product like this, ensuring long-term adaptability and keeping the experience fresh is essential—even if it comes at a slightly higher cost. If there’s anything else you’d like to know about the project, feel free to let us know in the comments.
