Incredible! Thanks to your phenomenal support, we've officially unlocked our two COMMUNITY Stretch Goals! (The first four were our pre-unlocked goals.) That's right! Our newly unlocked feature is Bluetooth functionality for the cauldron!
The Bluetooth feature is mainly for future-proofing—it gives us the flexibility to add new mechanics and gameplay features for the cauldron down the road. We love our cauldron and want it to stay magical and relevant for a long time.
Just to be clear: the game does not require an app. It’s fully playable straight out of the box!
We're also excited to share some behind-the-scenes stories about the cauldron! Regarding the lighting effects: we experimented with multiple light-guiding solutions to channel the light from the PCB onto the dragon scales on the casing. The scales themselves are purple, so even white light will shine through with a purple glow.
You might be wondering about the design—why there’s a dragon, and why it moves. All of this is rooted in a backstory that we’ve crafted.
The design and testing process took a very long time. Our R&D team made countless adjustments to both the hardware and software before finally achieving the effect we wanted. The cauldron can now be easily adjusted according to gameplay needs—such as when it starts moving, its frequency, speed, direction, and more. We’re also planning to program different modes to create varied in-game effects.
To retain Bluetooth functionality, we ultimately opted for a higher-cost chip with built-in Bluetooth support. We believe that for a smart hardware product like this, ensuring long-term adaptability and keeping the experience fresh is essential—even if it comes at a slightly higher cost. Today we're thrilled to unveil the "Over the Wall" Halloween Mini-Expansion! This spooky addition brings two major gameplay features:
Expanded World Map
The gameplay now extends beyond the kitchen walls! Players must climb over the walls to gather special ingredients—raising the challenge as this requires consuming extra action points.
Magical Dish Enchantment
Completed dishes now require an enchanting process before serving. Different magical seasonings will apply unique effects to your creation, which can ultimately lead to glorious success or messy failure!

A Spooky Greeting & The Secrets of Our GLOWING Map!

Happy Halloween, Chefs!
Our four master chefs have donned their spookiest costumes to celebrate this wonderfully eerie night with all of you! The cauldrons are bubbling, and the atmosphere is just right to unveil one of the most enchanting (and secretly important) features of the Master Chef's Collection: the Glow-in-the-Dark Map Tiles & Background Border!
Crafted with a Special Glow
These aren't your ordinary prints. We use a premium glow-in-the-dark ink that actively absorbs light and re-emits it in the dark. This specialized printing process comes at a significantly higher cost, but we believe the mesmerizing atmosphere it creates is absolutely worth it.
Is It Just for a Spooky Effect?
The glow is spectacular, but its purpose runs much deeper than a cool visual. The luminous patterns are intricately tied to a hidden side-quest within the game.
When the lights go out, these glowing trails will guide you and unlock mysteries that remain completely invisible by the light of day. Solving these secrets is key to completing the side-quest.
We can't wait for you to piece together the puzzles hidden in plain sight—or rather, hidden in the dark.
