3D Printing Community,Production Progress & Shipping Timeline
15 days ago – Mon, Aug 03, 2026 at 04:08:40 AM

Hey backers,

We've got a good mix of updates today — a look at the 3D printing community, where production stands, a couple of changes to flag before shipping, and the latest on timing.

3D Printing Community

Good news for the makers out there — the official 3D printable models for Cauldron Call are now live on MakerWorld. Head over to our MakerWorld page and start printing.

Hope these inspire a few builds of your own — remix them, tweak them, or come up with something totally different. We'd love to see what you make.

If you have any ideas, requests, or thoughts, don't hesitate to share.

And don't forget to follow us on MakerWorld to stay updated on future releases!

Production Progress

Production is progressing on schedule, and everything is going smoothly so far. (Please disregard the tire color shown in the images — the actual product will be black.)

One small but nice addition - stamp protector sleeves

We added protector sleeves for the stamp components. It's a small thing, but it'll help keep them from getting scratched or bent in transit (and honestly, just from regular use too).

A small resize for the Menu Board - and good news on price

During final packaging tests, we found the Magnetic Menu Board needed to come down slightly in size to fit safely in the box. Since it's a bit more compact now, we've also lowered the price from AU$15 to AU$12- smaller footprint, smaller price tag.

A material change on the KSE clock

One more change to flag: the KSE wooden clock has been switched from wood to a paper-based material. This wasn't a cost decision — during production testing, we found that wood wasn't able to properly show off the glow-in-the-dark effect the way we wanted it to. Paper turned out to do the job much better.

To be clear, this is still an exclusive KSE version and remains distinct from the retail edition — just a change in material to make sure the glow effect actually looks the way it's supposed to.

Two items removed before shipping

The Felt Bookmark Set and Foldable Board Game Tote Bag each needed a minimum number of orders to unlock, and neither hit its threshold. Both have been removed from pledges before any charges went through — you won't be billed for either.

We know a few of you had your eye on these — appreciate your understanding.

Shipping Timeline

A couple of things to flag on logistics:

We're expecting to finalize shipping costs by mid-August, and that info will come
through your Pledge Manager.

Shipping itself is looking to go out in batches from mid-to-late August.

We'll share more specific dates as we lock things in. As always, drop any questions in the
comments and we'll get to them.

Let's keep cooking together!

Whispers from the Magical World: The Call for Heroes
about 1 month ago – Thu, Jul 16, 2026 at 02:19:08 AM

Hello everyone,

We, the Cauldron Keepers, have heard some strange things from the other world: the people of the kingdom of Caldoria have become increasingly dependent on food, and we wonder if this is related to the "Hunger Curse" mentioned in ancient books. The people in the palace are buzzing with talk about it...

"Long time no see, Head Chef. You're always so busy."

"Of course, Sage—maybe you can help me out? We were planning an 'internal competition' to show off our cooking skills—but I need to get a new kitchen hand familiar with the work, and that novice is making things worse every day. He burns things, forgets to wash dirty plates, takes out half-cooked food, or forgets a dish for some banquet. I almost slipped on a slice of burnt bread he dropped on the floor!"

"Interesting. Are you hinting that you want me to use magic to help you?"

"I was thinking, if you could help me teleport, swap places, or something, it would be a lot easier. Haha! But I don't like messing with magic—speaking of which, here's a strange thing: lately, furniture in the kitchen keeps getting moved, and none of the cooks admit to doing it... Not only that, we sometimes feel like some strange magical force is affecting us. Some colleagues suddenly can't see clearly, or get dizzy and deliver the wrong dish; the floor suddenly gets slippery; the soup in the pot heats up on its own... Do you have any idea what's going on?"

"What I've been fearing is happening: that 'wizard' is studying a destructive force that's hard to control, and magical power is becoming unstable."

"What? So the rumours about the 'Hunger Curse' and the 'undead army' on the streets are true, Sage?"

"I'm afraid so. We need the power of otherworlders. Only the food they make can save the undead—and all of this may be set in motion by that cauldron sealed away in your kitchen."

"Hah, I don't understand complicated things, but I'll leave all my delicious recipes to them! Just tell me if you need anything."

"Then thank you, old friend."

There are many more whispers from the other world... The kingdom of Caldoria needs help.

We believe many chef heroes are already prepared.

If we receive a summons from the cauldron, will you answer?

Get ready, chefs!

Manufacturing Progress: Onward and Upward
about 2 months ago – Thu, Jul 02, 2026 at 11:13:35 PM

Hi backers,

It's been a minute! Production is moving along smoothly, and we're still hard at work fine-tuning every aspect of the game — making sure all that effort shows up in the details of every session you play.

1. The Over the Wall Expansion
We've put together a beautifully crafted ladder in the Over the Wall expansion to help you reach the pumpkin field — timing is everything. We won't pretend to understand magic, but your pumpkins will randomly teleport to different corners of the map. Grab one-but if you don't chop it in time, you'll be flying off with it next round :)
Seasonings are joining the pumpkins on the map too — some will help you out, others will corrode your perfectly cooked ingredients right out of existence.
So here's our bottom line: if it looks sketchy, don't touch it. Once it's in your inventory, there's no taking it back...
Haven't grabbed the Over the Wall expansion yet? You can still add it to your order through the Pledge Manager! It really adds a fun new layer to the game.

2. Chef Standee Bases, Upgraded
A little bonus for everyone! Across all Cauldron Call editions — including the Apprentice's Edition — chef standee bases are getting upgraded to stools.
3. ABS Furniture
The furniture models that'll actually ship to your door will be made using injection-molded ABS — sturdy, durable, and full of fine detail.
4. Setups
We've put together a range of setups with different difficulty levels and play styles, and they're now in final testing. These will really put your map knowledge, strategy, and chef skills to the test.
5. Detailed Border Holders
Now featuring a stone-textured design to keep your borders securely in place — no more runaway Cauldrons mysteriously ending up on your floor.
Before we know it, July is here, and shipping day keeps getting closer.
Stay tuned, and keep sharpening your chef skills!

Whispers from the Magical World: The Undead
2 months ago – Wed, Jun 17, 2026 at 04:02:16 AM

Hello everyone,

We, the Cauldron Keepers, have recently detected an unsettling energy coming from the other world. This power is very different from the pure dragon flame of the cauldron itself. Worried about the possible impact of this dark energy, we have gathered some whispers captured from the wind and we'd like to share them with you...

"10th day of autumn, year 354
I had a dream: cursed creatures appeared on the horizon of the kingdom and began harassing my subjects.
I am still pondering the source of this ill omen. Is it because of that dragon?

Soon after, I received reports from scouts: unexplained disturbances have appeared on the borders of the kingdom of Caldoria. Sage warned me that a wizard who has long coveted Ainsol’s power possesses strong dark magic, perhaps linked to the 'Hunger Curse and the Undead' mentioned in ancient books, and urged me to stay vigilant.

This page seems to be from the king’s diary. We have not found the continuation, but there is another page that appears to come from an ancient book:

The hunger deeply rooted in human flesh can sometimes be twisted and magnified by magic.
Afflicted by this power, people grow ever hungrier, and no matter what they eat, they only become more gaunt, until they turn into undead.

To lift the curse, one needs visitors who themselves carry the nature of 'reversal', such as otherworlders. However, breaking open a passage through time and space still requires the strongest and purest magical power — which humans do not possess.
Along with these whispers came several exquisite drawings, seemingly by some artists from the other world. We will organize these pictures and later send them to you, so that everyone can understand the full story of what has happened in the kingdom of Caldoria and uncover the truth.
The Hunger Curse has reached the castle kitchen. The cauldron stirs. The chefs must cook before the undead arrive.

Stay tuned.

Manufacturing Progress: All Kinds of New Items
3 months ago – Tue, Jun 02, 2026 at 04:28:32 AM

Hi backers,

We have some very interesting things we can't wait to share with you! Here's our manufacturing progress over the past few weeks:
New Fridge Magnets & Clips
For those who have placed orders on the PM: The new fridge magnets have arrived! The chefs are all in Halloween-themed designs. The new clips have also arrived, with brand new designs you’ve never seen before! Do you like them?
Player Boards
Compared to the early 2025 version, the player boards have undergone a complete overhaul in visual design and layout: each chef's board features its own theme color for better distinction; the back of each board has a unique Cauldron Call promo image, and the display of skills and ingredients is more intuitive.
New Border
The manufacturer has sent us a brand new Border model. Compared to the previous folding version, its durability has been significantly improved, and it is less likely to break.
Cauldron
Previously we used flat, round rubber for the Cauldron's wheels, but considering aesthetics and the actual conditions in the magical world, we finally adopted a more antique style with a raised ring in the middle of the wheel.
3D plates
For the 3D plates in the Master Chef's Collection and Magician's Meal Deal editions, there are currently two options: the wooden version is more realistic (note there are two variations: dark brown and brown), while the purple patterned plate looks more vibrant. Which one do you prefer?
Printed Samples
In addition, we have received some new printed samples! The player boards and card text have also been adjusted — making the display more intuitive, more beautiful, and more distinctive. Excited to see them? The new cards are ready!
Many thanks to Resin Crow and Fabian Roth for their card design suggestions. It is a joy to build Cauldron Call together with our backers. If you have any other suggestions, please feel free to share.
We will continue to release more interesting news, including our manufacturing process and research into the magical world. Just between us, some extra information about the game can be found in the Cauldron Call VIP Group. Come join us and get more updates!
